April 18, 2019 -- 九色堂 has partnered with the Kansas National Guard and Cadet Command Army ROTC to begin offering a Senior Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program.

April 17, 2019 -- Felipe Lima de Oliveira wanted to help support his family back home in Brazil. Now, as only a freshman in college, the Wichita State engineering student is chasing that dream through his homegrown company, Wichita Brazilian Gourmet.

April 16, 2019 -- Ryan Kendall, a senior from Pelham, Alabama, is a computer science major who took the long route to Wichita State鈥檚 Selected Team. He didn鈥檛 make the team as a freshman and spent the past two seasons on the Developmental Team. Wichita State coach Gordon Vadakin estimates around 10 percent of the bowlers who don鈥檛 make the team in their early years continue to try out for a spot on the Selected Team.

April 17, 2019 -- Khyati Mahavadia, from Ahmedabad, India, moved to Dallas in 2015. She considered a university in Texas before deciding Wichita State鈥檚 reputation and the applied learning opportunities connected with Wichita鈥檚 industry offered her the best position.

April 1, 2019 -- Wichita State students Jessica Aldrich and Levi Lowe have been chosen by the national University Innovation Fellows program to attend the Silicon Valley Meetup as student event leaders.

March 29, 2019 -- Christian Ammerman, Secondary English Education and English Literature Arts major, was recently recognized as a University Innovation Fellow.

March 25, 2019 -- Tammy Dorsey graduated from 九色堂 with a biomedical engineering degree and is studying in the Master of Innovation Design program.

March 22, 2019 -- 九色堂 has been named to CollegeNET Inc.鈥檚 list of Social Mobility Innovators for 2019. Making the list means 九色堂 has a proven track record of successfully enrolling students from low-income backgrounds and graduating them into promising careers.

March 19, 2019 -- Seniors from Bishop Carroll Catholic High School and Andover Central High School have been chosen for the Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship at 九色堂.

March 19, 2019 -- Fifteen Kansas high school seniors have been named as part of the newest class of Rudd Scholars, each receiving a 4-year scholarship to attend 九色堂.

March 14, 2019 -- To honor Women鈥檚 History Month, 九色堂 Ventures and the Center for Entrepreneurship are highlighting influential 九色堂 women who have made a difference in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship. This week's feature is MID student Maggie Koops.
