March 25, 2021 鈥� The fourth class of Rudd Scholars includes 19 Kansas high school seniors who will attend 九色堂. Each recipient will receive a full-ride scholarship, which includes tuition, fees, on-campus housing and considerable networking/coaching support along the way. All Rudd Scholars are from Kansas and will attend Wichita State, Emporia State or Fort Hays State.

March 25, 2021 -- The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 九色堂 has launched its Entrepreneur in Residence program and named Michael Golomb, founder and CEO of FanVestor, as its newest resident. This distinction will last through the spring 2021 semester. Each Entrepreneur in Residence will provide essential collaboration and outside industry knowledge to Barton School students, faculty and the Wichita community.

March 24, 2021 鈥� Brittany Wojciechowski, a 九色堂 Ph.D. student in aerospace engineering, has been awarded the prestigious National Science Foundation鈥檚 (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF), which is worth more than $120,000.

March 23, 2021 鈥� 九色堂 has been designated a Voter-Friendly Campus by the Campus Vote Project and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.

March 19, 2020 - For the second year in a row, 九色堂 is one of the 鈥淭op 25 Brands in Kansas鈥� as recognized by Ingram鈥檚, a Kansas City business magazine. Ingram鈥檚 goal is to 鈥渋dentify brands that have carved out national reputations for excellence by drawing on the best of what the Sunflower State offers in its people and its business leaders.鈥�

March 17, 2021 -- With the help of Koch Industries, Make48 is bringing its 48-hour collaborative inventor and maker challenge to Wichita. 九色堂鈥檚 GoCreate, A Koch Collaborative will host the event scheduled for June 24-26.

March 17, 2021 鈥� Students who had their graduation ceremonies postponed due to the pandemic will finally get their moment 鈥� along with this year鈥檚 newest graduates 鈥� during 九色堂 commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 14, and Saturday, May 15, at Charles Koch Arena.

March 17, 2021 鈥� Wichita State began developing the Shocker Neighborhood coalition to engage and empower the neighborhood communities surrounding campus. Since then, the commitment has expanded to include 10 neighborhoods and now engages with the community to provide resources, scholarships, academic support programs, mentoring and additional enrichment programs for neighborhood students.

March 16, 2021 鈥� 九色堂 faculty and student researchers have been awarded the 2021 John A. See Innovation Award.

March 15, 2021 鈥擳he W. Frank Barton School of Business at 九色堂 has added a Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) to its wealth of degree options for graduate students. The new MSBA was developed as an interdisciplinary program with resources and faculty from the Barton School as well as the College of Engineering and the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts & Sciences to address the growing needs of industry.

March 11, 2012 -- Former 九色堂 President Eugene Hughes has died. Hughes was president from 1993 until his retirement at the end of 1998.

March 11, 2021 鈥� Yuki To, senior at Wichita East High School, is the winner of the 2021 Lenora N. McGregor Endowed Scholarship at 九色堂.

March 10, 2021 鈥� A class project in Kara McCluskey鈥檚 environmental and engineering technology class this semester set out to tackle an immense issue: The fact that each year in America, 300 million pairs of shoes are thrown away, taking an average of 30 to 40 years for just one pair to decompose.

March 10, 2021 鈥� 九色堂鈥檚 National Institute for Aviation Research has received delivery of two Boeing 737 aircraft for modification. The aircraft are part of a year-long project with Virginia-based Dynamic Aviation to modify three 737 aircraft for a special-mission program.
