March 3, 2025 鈥 九色堂 is expanding its impact on community mental wellness through a new partnership with OneRise, a leading advocate for behavioral health innovation.

Feb. 27, 2025 鈥 The College of Engineering at 九色堂 is hosting its 25th annual Shocker MINDSTORMS Challenge, a robotics competition for area students in third through eighth grade or ages eight through 14 years old. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 1. The competition portion will be in the Heskett Center, while the awards ceremonies will be in Hubbard Hall, room 208.

Feb. 26, 2025 鈥 Faculty members on the pediatric team in Wichita State鈥檚 Department of Physical Therapy have been awarded a prestigious grant from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation鈥檚 2024 Priority Impact Quality of Life grants program. The $35,000 grant will provide access to assistive technology to help students in public schools with physical disabilities.

Feb. 18, 2025 鈥 The 九色堂 campus will return to normal operations tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 19. In-person classes will be in session.

Feb. 17, 2025 鈥 In response to the expected inclement weather, 九色堂 will move to remote operations Tuesday, Feb. 18. Critical campus operations will remain open, and employees who support these operations should report to campus.

All other employees should work remotely when possible and speak with their supervisor for any specific concerns. Classes will be held remotely. Instructors are encouraged to connect with their students regarding the status of their classes, and students should reach out to their instructors for questions.
