Oct. 2, 2024 鈥� Combined enrollment by headcount across all 九色堂 locations for fall 2024 is 23,806, according to the annual data released today by the Kansas Board of Regents. This is the largest number of students ever choosing to enroll at Wichita State.

May 14, 2024 - The 九色堂 Cricket Club will soon play matches near campus at Dr. Glen Dey Park. The club held a groundbreaking ceremony in April.

May 7, 2024 - Wichita State鈥檚 W. Frank Barton School of Business offers the largest selection of AACSB-accredited programs in Kansas. Bari Syed chose 九色堂 for its Master of Accountacy program because of that status.

Feb. 27, 2024 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 九色堂 has named its two recipients of the 2024 Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship. This year鈥檚 winners are Annika Lindeman from Eisenhower High School in Goddard, Kansas, and Abby Rexford from West Jessamine High School in Wilmore, Kentucky. They will each receive more than $32,700 spread over four years to attend 九色堂 and major in entrepreneurship.

Feb. 19, 2024 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 九色堂 is launching a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality. The program will begin in fall 2024 with applications now open for interested students. It was developed in response to growing local and national employment needs in the industry.

Feb. 15, 2024 鈥� Ten high school students from Kansas, Missouri and Texas have been awarded the Koch Scholarship at 九色堂, starting in the fall 2024 semester. Each scholar each will be awarded $30,000 to attend 九色堂 over four years.

Jan. 22, 2024 鈥� The FirePoint Innovations Center at 九色堂 announced it has been selected to deliver Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub programming for the National Security Innovation Network through the newly established Great Plains Mission Acceleration Center, an innovation and collaboration hub designed to connect small businesses, academia and the Department of Defense to support defense-focused technology development.

Nov. 29, 2023 鈥� The first carrier-neutral Internet Exchange Point (IXP) in Kansas is slated to be located at 九色堂, improving internet access, affordability and speed for 九色堂, Innovation Campus and Shocker Neighborhood users and for users across much of Kansas.

Oct. 19, 2023 鈥� The Association of University Research Parks (AURP) has awarded Wichita State鈥檚 Innovation Campus with the 2023 Emerging Research Park Award at its annual international conference held this week.

The endeavor is intended to strengthen the security of data collection and transfer among space-based Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
