Boeing 737

March 10, 2021 鈥 九色堂鈥檚 National Institute for Aviation Research has received delivery of two Boeing 737 aircraft for modification. The aircraft are part of a year-long project with Virginia-based Dynamic Aviation to modify three 737 aircraft for a special-mission program.

Oct. 29, 2020 - Campus construction continues and new partners continue to join 九色堂. An update on progress around campus includes Woolsey Hall, new home to W. Frank Barton School of Business, Hyatt Place and The Smart Factory @ Wichita.

Oct. 22, 2020 鈥 Alumni, donors and officials from 九色堂 gathered Thursday, Oct. 22 for a groundbreaking ceremony at the future site of Wayne and Kay Woolsey Hall, the new home for the W. Frank Barton School of Business.

GoBabyGo car and child

July 22, 2020 - The 九色堂 College of Engineering sponsors GoBabyGo, an interdisciplinary program that modifies toy cars for use by children with disabilities. The COVID-19 pandemic interrupted the semester and several students returned over the past month to help finish and deliver the six cars.

Hand assistive device

June 16, 2020 - Carlos Gatti, a junior biomedical engineering major, is building a 九色堂 student organization that provides affordable assistive devices to people in need. The team is designing a device for a client who plays the cello and one for a client who wants help with tasks such as cooking.
