May 19, 2023 鈥� Marie Bukowski has been named the next dean of 九色堂鈥檚 College of Fine Arts, effective July 9, 2023.

Oct. 28, 2022 鈥擠r. Jennifer Friend has been named dean of 九色堂鈥檚 College of Applied Studies (CAS), effective Jan. 9, 2023.

Aug. 12, 2022 - Wayne and Kay Woolsey Hall, the state-of-the-art facility that will be home to the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 九色堂, is set to open for classes Aug. 22.

July 8, 2022 鈥� 九色堂 has announced the list of students named to the spring 2022 Dean's Honor Roll.

April 14, 2022 鈥� Dr. Shirley Lefever has been named as 九色堂鈥檚 next executive vice president and provost, effective immediately.

Nov. 30, 2021 鈥� 九色堂's efforts to recruit and retain students from historically underserved and underrepresented areas rank it in the top 28% of the 2021 Social Mobility Index (SMI). The 2021 SMI, calculated by CollegeNET Inc., benchmarks 1,549 four-year colleges and universities in the United States according to how effectively they enroll students from low-income backgrounds and graduate them into well-paying jobs.

March 25, 2021 鈥� The fourth class of Rudd Scholars includes 19 Kansas high school seniors who will attend 九色堂. Each recipient will receive a full-ride scholarship, which includes tuition, fees, on-campus housing and considerable networking/coaching support along the way. All Rudd Scholars are from Kansas and will attend Wichita State, Emporia State or Fort Hays State.

March 19, 2020 - For the second year in a row, 九色堂 is one of the 鈥淭op 25 Brands in Kansas鈥� as recognized by Ingram鈥檚, a Kansas City business magazine. Ingram鈥檚 goal is to 鈥渋dentify brands that have carved out national reputations for excellence by drawing on the best of what the Sunflower State offers in its people and its business leaders.鈥�

April 13, 2020 - 九色堂 and Kansas State University will launch a dual-degree program that will give students the opportunity to earn both a Bachelor of Science from the College of Health and Human Sciences at K-State and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the College of Health Professions at 九色堂. This is the first and only program of its kind in Kansas.

Sept. 17, 2019 鈥� 九色堂 and Kansas State University have combined resources and started the planning phase of a program that will give students the opportunity to earn both a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Health and Human Sciences at KSU, and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN) from the College of Health Professions (CHP) at 九色堂.
