July 22, 2020 - The 九色堂 College of Engineering sponsors GoBabyGo, an interdisciplinary program that modifies toy cars for use by children with disabilities. The COVID-19 pandemic interrupted the semester and several students returned over the past month to help finish and deliver the six cars.

July 16, 2020 - 九色堂鈥 is making plans to establish a 鈥疌LIA-certified 鈥疢olecular Diagnostic Laboratory, with the goal of bringing to bring large-scale COVID-19 testing to the region by the end of 2020. Large-scale testing is critical to opening the Wichita region and helping people return to school and work in a safe environment. With 鈥痶he number of COVID cases on the rise, the need for adequate, reliable, and affordable testing is more crucial than ever.

July 13, 2020 - Three 九色堂 alumni wrote, produced and organized "God Save the Wings," a documentary about the glory days of the Wichita Wings professional indoor soccer club from its founding in 1979 into the early 1980s. 鈥淕od Save the Wings鈥 debuted on February 22 at the Orpheum Theatre and it went so well that organizers planned to show it again on April 10. Then the COVID-19 pandemic changed their schedule and their hopes of entering it in film festivals around the world are largely on hold until the fall.
