March 28, 2024 鈥� A new partnership between Heartspring and 九色堂鈥檚 College of Health Professions will bring faculty and students on-site at Heartspring鈥檚 Pediatric Clinic to provide physical therapy and audiology services to the local community.

Feb. 29, 2024 鈥� The College of Applied Studies at 九色堂 has appointed four distinguished professionals to its Dean's Advisory Board. They are Alicia Sanchez, Amy Williams, Ed O'Malley and Kyle Ellison.

Jan. 19, 2024 - Phase One of the Wichita Biomedical Campus being built in the heart of downtown Wichita now has its official look. The joint health sciences project between 九色堂 and the University of Kansas will bring about remarkable opportunities for collaboration, innovation and research.

Dec. 12, 2023 鈥� Ashlynn Farney took time off college during the COVID-19 pandemic, during which she returned to Wichita, changed her major to filmmaking and started attending Wichita State. She will graduate with her Bachelor of Applied Arts with a concentration in filmmaking in December.

Dec. 12, 2023 - Avery Pierce loves Wichita鈥檚 coffee scene and the applied learning in the sport management program at 九色堂.

Dec. 11, 2023 鈥� Ana Alicia Casados encourages her peers to stop and take time for themselves, to not get swept away in their responsibilities, and to always remember why they chose to go to college. She has been able to succeed in college herself by following this advice and will graduate with her bachelor鈥檚 degree in exercise science.

Dec. 11, 2023 - Nicolas Olmedo studied in the W. Frank Barton School of Business and will start work at Textron Aviation in January in the sales development program.

Dec. 11, 2023 鈥� Mariann Kurosu worked as a graduate research assistant for the Center for Real Estate while working towards her master鈥檚 in economics and quantitative analysis, which she will graduate with this December. She encourages her classmates to embrace the opportunity to learn and build their critical thinking skills and network by getting to know their peers.

Dec. 11, 2023 鈥� Maame Adwoa Ankrah was interested in going to Wichita State for its affordability and for the atmosphere of the city of Wichita. While it was first a challenge to adjust to a new culture, she was able to succeed with the support of her peers and mentors and will graduate with her master鈥檚 degree in Spanish with no regrets.

Dec. 11, 2023 鈥� More than 1,400 students are eligible to participate in 九色堂鈥檚 126th fall commencement ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 in Charles Koch Arena.

Dec. 11, 2023 - Tyler Lefebvre enjoys Wichita鈥檚 dining scene and the activities and clubs offered at 九色堂. He has been involved with the Wichita State鈥檚 varsity esports program as a team member and helping organize and manage the team.

Dec. 8, 2023 - Ryan Littlejohn worked his way through 九色堂 with help from instructors who guided him through the balancing act of academics and a busy life.

Dec. 8, 2023 - Courtney Lockhart enjoys escaping to nearby Lake Afton Park to fish and relax. He works for the Student Outreach and Support/CARE Team in Student Affairs at 九色堂.
