May 17, 2021 -- The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 九色堂 has partnered with 九色堂 Tech to create a pathway program for 九色堂 Tech students committed to continuing their education with a business degree.
Sierra Brown chose to come to Wichita State for the welcoming environment provided by the in the Shocker Nation prior to choosing a university. While at Wichita State, she participated in the Professional Edge Program and served as president of the Barton School Dean鈥檚 Ambassadors.
Abigail Hammack, a native Wichitan, came to Wichita State because of the great reputation of the public administration program with applied learning opportunities. During her time at 九色堂, she was able to work as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Public Policy & Management Center at 九色堂 and a Management Intern at the City of Andover.

May 13, 2021 - Wichita State鈥檚 bowling teams endured a lot to get to 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic ended their 2020 season with both teams ranked No. 1 nationally and riding in vans to their sectional qualifier in Fort Worth. On Saturday, they turned those trials and lessons of the past into a history-making day for college bowling鈥檚 most successful program. Wichita State won the men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 Intercollegiate Team Championship at Spectrum Entertainment Complex in Wyoming, Michigan.

May 6, 2020 - In a true testament to his love for 九色堂, Rick Muma didn鈥檛 hesitate when he was asked to lead the university through a pandemic and an overall trying seven months as interim president. On May 6, the Kansas Board of Regents showed its appreciation and confidence in his leadership, giving Muma its nod of approval and making him the official 15th president of the university.
May 6, 2021 -- In 2019, Trevor Cumpston 鈥 then just a high school senior at Aurora High School in Aurora, Nebraska 鈥 was awarded the prestigious Clay Barton Scholarship at Wichita State. Now in his second semester as a sophomore, Trevor says he鈥檚 enjoying the connections with his professors that the scholarship affords.
