July 1, 2019 -- 九色堂 admissions created the Public Relations Institute (PRI) in the fall of 2018 to foster goodwill among 九色堂 alumni and community stakeholders through outreach and presence at community events. At the time, PRI consisted of only three students and two staff advisors, but their impact spread across the Wichita area.

June 26, 2019 -- A NASA-funded 九色堂 research project will seek to understand how the human brain responds to gravity while in space.

June 28, 2019 -- Wichita State students are spending their summer helping the city use its data and share it across departments. May 21, 2019 - Four 九色堂 aerospace engineering students have placed seventh in NASA鈥檚 Student Launch Initiative competition. The team designed, built and launched a rocket to complete a simulated Moon mission.

May 20, 2019 -- 九色堂鈥檚 National Institute for Aviation Research houses a virtual reality center, known as The Cave, which stands for computer-aided virtual environment.
