November 23, 2020 - In February, Evergy invested in three initiatives that added valuable assets to the engineering program. One of those initiatives was the installation of solar panels on the roof of the John Bardo Center.

Molecular Diagnostics Lab

Oct. 19, 2020 鈥 Wichita and southcentral Kansas' only high-volume test lab opened at 九色堂. The Molecular Diagnostics Lab can test up to 4,500 tests per day at its full capacity.

August 28, 2020 - Growing and diversifying the regional economy is a primary goal for 九色堂. To assist with those efforts, 九色堂 President Dr. Jay Golden has created the President鈥檚聽Innovation聽and聽Business聽Advisory聽Council. A selection of area business leaders will be invited to attend monthly council meetings to advise and support Wichita State leadership on a number of critical areas.

Aug. 24, 2020 鈥 Building a stronger, more profound connection between the Wichita State main campus and its Innovation Campus, the university is proposing the creation of a privately funded elevated pedestrian bridge that will span more than 300 feet across the pond west of Wayne and Kay Woolsey Hall, which is scheduled to break ground later this year.

July 2, 2020 -- Partnered with the U.S. Army鈥檚 Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) and Aviation & Missile Center, 九色堂鈥檚 FirePoint Innovation Center is building collaborations with the U.S. Department of Defense.
