Overview

Brian Foster has been teaching game development classes for more than a decade, first at Butler Community College and now at Wichita State. His focus leans towards programming, but encompasses all aspects of game development. He co-founded Quickdraw Studios in 2015, winning the Shocker New Venture Competition in 2016.

He has worked for six years as a QA Playtester at the indie studio Butterscotch Shenanigans with his name in the credits of two games. Brian grew up playing, creating, and recording music, which gives him a deep insight into how video games integrate with Audio Production. He has been nurturing the Wichita Game Developer scene with the ICT Game Jam since 2015. Brian is passionate about all aspects of creating art and strives to impart his enthusiasm for life, meaning, truth, and joy to his students.
