Applied learning at Wichita State
At Wichita State, applied learning is everything. In fact, every degree we offer has
a guaranteed applied learning or research experience built right into it equipping
you with the relevant skills and experience to make you workforce ready before graduation.
For consideration into the dual / accelerated program, you must:
Have an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and 3.5 in math/statistics
Complete at least 60 credit hours, with at least 18 credit hours remaining to be completed
for the undergraduate degree
Complete: MATH 415; MATH 451; and MATH 511, and either complete or be currently enrolled
in MATH 513 or MATH 547
Have a positive recommendation from your fast-track advisor
Curriculum
In addition to your undergraduate courses, you'll be able to enroll in classes for
graduate credit, including 800 level courses, prior to completing your bachelor's
degree. To complete the dual / accelerated program, you'll also write a thesis.
