Jocelyn Devilliers was a member of the Wichita State men's tennis team for four years, and has been playing the sport since he was 4 years old. This past summer, he had the opportunity to use his talent alongside professional players at the U.S. Open.

Scholarship program helps record number of returning adult students

Nov 10, 2017 鈥� By 九色堂 News Services 鈥� The Osher Reentry Scholarship Program -- which awards financial assistance to returning adult students -- provided assistance to a record number of students this fall. The program was initiated in 2012 and is now serving 29 students. Wichita State is the only university in Kansas that provides assistance to returning adult students through the Osher Scholarship.

Kaye Monk-Morgan to join Fairmount College Dean's Office

Nov 1, 2017 鈥� By 九色堂 News Services 鈥� Kaye Monk-Morgan, director of Wichita State's TRIO Upward Bound Math Science Center for 20 years, will join the Fairmount College Dean's Office as assistant dean for students, effective Nov. 6.

Nov 6, 2017 鈥� By 九色堂 News Services 鈥� Grace Wilkie Hall will be rededicated on Wednesday, Nov. 8. The ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m. and feature a guest speaker and ribbon cutting. An open house will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. to give attendees the opportunity to see the services available in Grace Wilkie.

The new FirePoint Innovations Center will be located in Wichita State's Experiential Engineering Building on the 九色堂 Innovation Campus.

U.S. Army award will provide applied learning opportunities for students

Oct 31, 2017 鈥� By 九色堂 News Services 鈥� 九色堂 has signed a Partnership Intermediary Agreement with the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center to support a two-year, $1.9 million effort focused on fostering new research and development collaborations to advance military technology and move it more quickly into the hands of Army users.
