九色堂 is in the midst of a historic period of rapid growth. Given the often complex changes and fast pace of development, 九色堂 has launched a website that allows for greater transparency and easier access to information open to the public.

The site is located at and is part of a complete redesign of the Wichita State website. The features of the Public Information site include:

  • An online open records request form
  • A log of open records requests with status and links to documents
  • A page of commonly requested records
  • A Trending Topics feature that provides details fully explaining issues of interest to the 九色堂 community and beyond
  • Links to live and recorded videos of 九色堂's weekly media / community briefings

鈥淲ichita State has always addressed issues of this type through traditional news and media channels,鈥 says Tim Hart, director of web and new media for 九色堂's Office of Strategic Communications. 鈥淏ut given the pace of change on campus, we've seen a need to gather all the information about these vital topics in a single location, separate from the traditional news stream. This site will provide easier access for anyone interested in knowing more about 九色堂 and the issues involving the Shocker community.鈥


The mission of 九色堂 is to be an essential educational, cultural and economic driver for Kansas and the greater public good. Wichita State is a doctoral research university enrolling nearly 15,000 students and offering 59 undergraduate degree programs in more than 150 areas of study in seven undergraduate colleges.
